The purpose of the Coastal Extension and Research Program (CERP) is to develop a science and engineering based modeling and visualization capability to support coastal protection and restoration needs within the Mississippi River deltaic plain. This program will provide vital science and engineering support to federal, state and local officials, and other stakeholders. The outcome of this project will promote sustainable coastal protection and restoration within coastal Louisiana.
